The PIC16F690-I/SS is a 20-Pin Flash-Based, 8-Bit CMOS Microcontroller. It has a 13-bit program counter capable of addressing an 8K * 14 program memory space. When accessing the program memory block of the PIC16F690-I/SS, the EEDAT and EEDATH registers form a 2-byte word that holds the 14-bit data for read/write, and the EEADR and EEADRH registers form a 2-byte word that holds the 12-bit address of the EEPROM location being read.
